This book, plus many other fantasy novels, only inspired her more to want to write her own stories. "Where do I even begin? This book is hauntingly beautiful, and has something for everyone. Adventure, romance, fantasy, horror, comedy, drama, action… Heart of Madness is a welcome escape from reality and you truly connect with every character.
If you’re on the fence, take the leap. This is the kind of story that will stay with you for a long time, and I wouldn’t have it any other way. Congratulations Jess, I can’t wait to see where you go next!"

"Home is behind, the world ahead, / And there are many paths to tread / Through shadows to the edge of night, / Until the stars are all alight. / Then world behind and home ahead, / We’ll wander back and home to bed. / Mist and twilight, cloud and shade, / Away shall fade! Away shall fade! — The Lord of the Rings
